Weight Gain Is It Inevitable?
Weight gain doesn’t have to be inevitable. But so many middle-aged
people – and even young people – seem to believe that.
For example, I’m sure you’ve known women going through
menopause who just gave up and assumed gaining 15 or
more pounds was “natural.”
Or know men with back pain and other problems
that would go away if they just ate a better diet and lost some
weight.
If you find yourself listening to the chorus of
people who say that weight gain in middle age
is normal…or that you have to spends hours
per week exercising… stop it right now.

Too many diets are about what foods you should
NOT eat in order to lose weight.
I have emphasized over and over again that
the cardinal sin of weight loss is skipping meals.
The right foods at the right time are the KEY
to weight loss.
The downside to that is that by making food the
enemy you almost will yourself to gain weight.
Or at the very least you sabotage your weight
loss attempts if you worry about NOT eating food.
So, to begin losing weight you must realize this
fact and open your mind to a new way of eating NOT dieting.
Belinda Benn is a 47-year-old fitness model and
she has created a program called Get Lean.
She has put together recipes and meal plans
so you no longer have to worry about which foods
to choose to get lean.
Cheat days are even allowed.
Plus, you’re going to love reading her story, so

A few weeks ago I ran into my very good friends Elaine Maxwell and Christina Del-Rosario at RA sushi in Chino Hills.
We were talking a bit and I noticed that Elaine was very unhappy about the way she looked. She said that due to a back injury she hasn’t been able to work out and therefore has gained 20lb.
Of course I knew that that’s not all there is to it. So I asked about her diet and she admitted having an affair with In-N-Out double double on a regular basis. 🙄
So, being a proud fitness expert I issued a challenge to her. It’s called “put up or shut up”. (OK I deleted a word there that wasn’t appropriate).
You see to us fitness trainers there is nothing worse, I MEAN NOTHING WORSE than someone complaining about how they look without doing anything about it.
It reminded me of my insecure girlfriend in college who wasn’t happy about her body but when it came down to going to the gym she had more excuses than a pregnant nun.
I hope you are reading this post Ginger. lol (yes that was her name. Real name)
Now remember Elaine actually has a valid excuse for not working out her back is really in bad shape. (she is like 6’0″ tall or maybe I am just short) but what’s the excuse with the love affair with In-N-Out.
On the opposite side of my college girlfriend is my beautiful wife Johnette. She thinks the gym is like Disneyland. If you let her, she will workout all day and night.
